Mike loves Indian food, yet after nearly a year in Singapore he had yet to try any of the Indian fare here.
So we decided to check out Queen’s Tandoor one night, not for any reason other than its location; we just happened to be walking along Robertson Quay. We had just bought the new 50mm lens and decided to kill two birds with one stone — play around with the new lens, and satisfy an Indian food craving.
It’s a bit more pricy than what you’d find at Little India, and while obviously catered to a Western crowd, the food was surprisingly good. Mike always orders chicken jalfrezi, and he was happy with QT’s version. I generally don’t like Indian food, but I found myself using the last of the naan and butter rice to scoop up the remaining dregs of the delicious curry sauce that accompanied my veg dish.
I’d recommend it for anyone in the Quay area who doesn’t feel up to the trek to Little India, and doesn’t mind paying a tad more for their naan.
