We have a new toy! My friend Terence whirled through town, and while catching up I mentioned how often Mike and I end up taking photos of food.
And in one afternoon, T planted the idea in my head that we needed to get a 50mm lens. It was very Inception.
And the very next day, Mike and I went to Funan Square and got the lens*. It’s perfect for playing with depth of field, which we love. Here are some test shots from the first night:

*At Funan, we picked up the lens for S$125, which is around $96 US. Not bad.
